Summer ‘Grab-and-Go’ meals for children available in New Kent beginning June 21

“Grab-and-Go” meals will be available during the Summer for all children age 18 and under in New Kent County.

Beginning June 21, Grab-and-Go meals will be available for pick-up on Thursdays. Distributions will be held at New Kent Middle School from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and at George Watkins Elementary School from 3-5 p.m. Meals are pre-packaged and most can be eaten cold or reheated.

Deliveries will be available on Wednesdays and accommodations can be made to pick up meals on another day by contacting Leslie Smith at 966-8508 or at lsmith@nkcps.k12.va.us.
