Above, a group of girls stay in a tight pack in a two-lap race during George Watkins Elementary School's May 8 field day. Students partook in a variety of activities in preparation for SOL testing. Among the activities include an obstacle course race (below), and the ever-so-popular tug-of-war contest (at bottom).
