The Library of Virginia has awarded $28,419.50 to Charles City County Circuit Court Clerk Victoria Washington for the preservation process. The funds will be used to conserve Deed Books 6, 10, and 20 also Land Book 1882-1887, Land Book 1888-1893, Land Book 1900-1905, Register of Births 1865-1896, and Register of Deaths 1865-1896.
