Quartet involved in break-in handed up indictments by grand jury

Four men connected to a break-in of a home in New Kent County were indicted by a grand jury during Monday morning proceedings in New Kent Circuit Court.

Richard Bergeron, 21, of the 5200 block of Long Bridge Road, Richmond, Cole Lyndard Dunkum, 24, of the 2800 block of Old Beech Hollow Road, Charles City, Anthony Underwood, 43, of the 6300 block of Memorial Drive, Sandston, and Lane Robert Underwood, 22, of the 7800 block of Lakeshore Drive, Quinton, were each indicted on two counts each of breaking and entering and one count of misdemeanor assault and battery. The indictments alleged the four men broke into the home of Teresa Truslow on Oct. 3, 2021.

In other indictments certified by the grand jury:

–Linnell Sylvester Burrell Jr., 43, of the 2500 block of Irvington Road, Weems, on one count of driving under the influence (third or subsequent offense). The crime allegedly took place on Aug. 26, 2021.

–Heather Rachel Bushman, 25, currently of Henrico Jail East, on a single charge of delivering drugs to a prisoner. The offense allegedly took place on July 14, 2021.

–Angela Marie Douglas, 45, of the 6400 block of Maple Road, Quinton, on one count each of felony eluding and felony hit and run. The offenses allegedly took place on Oct. 4, 2021.

–Kenny Blad Espinoza Hernandez, 21, of the 5700 block of Trafalgar Park, Henrico, on one count each of felony eluding, felony failure to appear, misdemeanor driving without a license, and two counts of misdemeanor reckless driving. The offenses allegedly took place on Aug. 26, 2021.

–Deangelo Lee Shelton, 24, of the 23000 block of Merrill Avenue, Southfield, Michigan, on one count each of felony eluding and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated (first offense). The offenses allegedly took place on June 7, 2021.
