Several students earn academic honors at James Madison University for Fall 2021 semester

Several local students were recognized for their academic achievements at James Madison University for the Fall 2021 semester.

Marisa Turner of New Kent, Sarah Rice of Quinton, and Haley Holland and Jacob Mattson, both of Providence Forge, were named to the President’s List for their academic achievements. In order to be recognized for the accolade, a student must accumulate a grade-point average of 3.9 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours.

Christopher Krawiec, Larsen Stewart, Shayla Forrest, Kyle McCuistion, and Kaylei Kipper, all of Providence Forge, Hannah Sweeney, Molly Wallace, Caroline Hendrick, Sarah Major, Samantha Miller, and Jacob Snawder, all of Quinton, and Alexa Spain of New Kent, were all named to the James Madison University Dean’s List for the Fall 2021 semester.

In order to be named to the Dean’s List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours.
