Music competition winners

New Kent Lions Club have announced the winners of their Lions of Virginia Bland Music Scholarship that took place on Feb. 18 at Providence Forge Presbyterian Church. Vocalist Naomi Torres (second from left) and flautist Olivia Carey (second from right) will participate at the district level for an opportunity to win a $3,000 scholarship.
