Letter to the Editor: Let’s have better behavior toward our fellow humans
I want to exert my influence for good on you all, however small it might be.
Our society is a tad ragged and could use something beyond the latest technology. We see technological advancements all around us but have not advance significantly as a civilized brother and sisterhood of people. The way we think and act overall is pretty much like it has always been; often compromising righteousness for our selfish ends.
It’s time to do something about this. We need to develop more constructive thoughts and behavior toward our fellow humans. We’ll never be perfect, but we can be better. Let’s figure out ways to be nice to each other and work together as best we can, exchanging animosity with kindness wherever possible.
If those of us with rigid mindsets (including me) could only recognize this and either undertake self-help or seek sound counseling, what a difference there would be! It would be an absolutely tragedy if the world ended with us still in the same old bitter “us against them” mentality and morally, mediocre rut.
