Bridge at Goddins Mill Pond in Barhamsville to close for repairs beginning May 9

The bridge at Goddins Mill Pond at Holly Fork Road (Route 600) in the Barhamsville area of New Kent County will close for two months beginning May 9.

Virginia’s Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be closing the road to all traffic as they will conduct bridge repairs to the area. The detours are as follows:

-Northbound Holly Fork Road- Take Farmer’s Drive (Rt. 273) west to New Kent Highway (Rt. 30) south to Richardson Road (Rt. 705) east to Holly Forks Rd./Tabernacle Road (Rt. 601) east to Triangle Road (Rt. 635) east back to Holly Fork Road.

-Southbound Holly Fork Road- Take Triangle Road (Rt. 635) west to Tabernacle Road/Holly Forks Road (Rt. 601) west to Richardson Road (Rt. 705) west to New Kent Highway (Rt. 30) north to Farmers Drive (Rt. 273) north back to Holly Fork Road.
