Several VDOT road construction projects slated for upcoming week

VDOT crews will be continuing ongoing projects in New Kent and Charles City in the forthcoming week:

–Interstate 64 East in New Kent between mile markers 217 and 224 will have the right lane closed from 10 p.m.-6 a.m., May 27-29 for pothole patching.

–Interstate 64 East in New Kent between mile markers 216 and 220 will have the right lane closed from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m., May 28-30 for pothole patching.

–Courthouse Road (Rt. 155) between Old Forge Road and the Charles City County line will have alternating lane closures from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. to widen shoulders and to correct drainage issues. This construction will continue until August.

–Courthouse Road (Rt. 155) between Kenthill Road and Minitree Glen Lane will have alternating lane closures from 9 a.m.-5 pm., May 27-30 for road widening activities.
