Several locals complete studies at James Madison University

Several local residents completed their studies at James Madison University and were recognized during Spring 2022 commencement ceremonies.

Marisa Turner of New Kent graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre.

Other graduates include Krystle Jones of Charles City (bachelor’s degree in biology), Shayla Forrest (bachelor’s degree in English) and Laura Aday Rodriguez (general psychology), both of Providence Forge, and Izea Turner (bachelor’s degree in economics), David McKenney (bachelor’s degree in health sciences), Elizabeth Miller (bachelor’s degree in health sciences), and Laura Eaton (master of education degree in adult education/human resources), all of Quinton.
