Taking Root Farm Tour location named
The Virginia Cooperative Extension Office is proud to announce the Taking Root Farm Tour planned for Sunday, June 22, 1-5 p.m. will be held at Holly Fork Farm.
Holly Fork Farm is a diverse farming operation. Farm visitors will learn about agriculture in the community as it relates to row crops, fruit crops, vegetable crops and value added farm products.
This year, the tour will be in the Barhamsville area of New Kent. Directions are: From Old Stage Road/VA-30, turn onto Holly Forks Road, travel .9 miles. Holly Forks Road becomes Tabernacle Road, travel 1.9 miles. Turn slight left onto Triangle Road, travel .5 miles. Triangle Road becomes Holly Fork Road, travel .4 miles and follow signs. Holly Fork Farm is on the right.
