VHSL Regional Coach Merit Award

Longtime Charles City High School Coach John A. Christian Jr. (right) is joined by his family as he is recognized with the Virginia High School League’s Regional Coaches’ Merit Award. The honor is presented to a coach who has contributed to sports at the high school level in a manner that enhances achievement in the classroom, in competition, and is recognized by his peers for his contributions. Christian, who has coached outdoor track and field, indoor track and field, basketball, and football, is Region 1A’s recipient.
