New Kent High School’s wrestling team survived a scare during the Jan. 11 home tri-meet. While the Trojans easily defeated Smithfield 60-15, the team tied with Poquoson at 39 apiece. New Kent, however, emerged as winners of the meet via a tiebreaker.
