Tiller to forego reelection for New Kent Board of Supervisors

District 2 New Kent Board of Supervisors representative C. Thomas Tiller has elected not to run for re-election this upcoming November.

“After thoughtful consideration, I have made the decision not to run for District 2 Supervisor when my current term ends,” Tiller said in a press release. “I have been honored to serve the residents of District 2 for the past 12 years and New Kent County as a whole for over 20 years.

“My hope is that someone who has the best interests of our district and county will fill this role and serve us all with the passion and integrity as I always strived to do,” he added. “Thank you to all who have supported and encouraged me over my tenure serving this amazing community.”
