Joel awarded Allen & Allen scholarship

Ella Joel, a Senior at New Kent High School, is a recipient of the George E. Allen Scholarship presented by Allen and Allen.

Joel is one of 15 students to receive the $2,000 endowment. The scholarship is awarded to local students who have thrived in the face of adversity with scholarships as they start their college careers.
