Charles City woman pleads guilty to misdemeanor destruction of property
A Charles City woman will spend four days in jail after agreeing to terms of a plea deal during Friday morning proceedings in Charles City Circuit Court.
Traci Lynn Winkle, 35, of the 13000 block of The Glebe Lane, entered a guilty plea to a charge of misdemeanor destruction of property.
In a summary of evidence, on Dec. 21, 2022, Winkle was using a vehicle belonging to Suzanne Boisseau, who granted her permission to use it to travel to and from court. However, when Winkle used that vehicle one day for another purpose and damaged it to the tune of $490.26.
Under the agreement, Winkle received a 90-day sentence with 86 days suspended (four days to serve).
