New Kent High School Class of 2023 Salutatorian- Sophie McLaughlin

Sophie McLaughlin is salutatorian of New Kent High School’s Class of 2023 with a grade-point average of 4.6.

She was a member of the BETA club, the girls’ varsity volleyball team, and volunteered at Dreamcatchers.

Sophie will be attending the University of Virginia where she plans to study biology as part of a physical therapy track.

She is the daughter of Adam and Christy McLaughlin.
