McBeath seeking re-election to New Kent’s School Board

Molly McBeath has announced her candidacy for re-election to the District 5 seat to New Kent’s School Board.

“I am running for school board to serve as an independent voice and advocate for all those involved in the New Kent County educational system,” she said in a press release. “I truly believe that our schools can excel if our focus remains on teaching our students core educational concepts unhindered by political viewpoints. Our schools shouldn’t be political backgrounds.

“If re-elected, I will focus on safe school initiatives, opening additional learning pathways to prepare our students, supporting our teaching team, and respecting parents’ rights,” McBeath concluded.
