Lamprecht wins world championship gold

New Kent High School rising senior Isaac Lamprecht (second from right), won a gold medal at the world triathlon championships in Hamburg, Germany. Representing the United States with teammates (l to r) Jake Adler, Andie Psilopoulos, and Ava Pfaff, the team competed in the mix relay, leading wire-to-wire and clocking in a time of 1:20.31 to win the event in the U20 division. Earlier in the week, Lamprecht finished fifth overall in the U20 Individual Sprint World Championship Finals.
