New Kent County airport awarded funds from Virginia Aviation Board

New Kent County Airport was one of 21 airports to receive funding from the Virginia Aviation Board to complete projects to enhance the facility.

New Kent County Airport received $24,000 for sealing runway cracks, applying an additional seal coat, and remarking it as part of the funds. They also received $4,312 as part of Phase One for easement acquisition services and reimbursement.

In total, the Virginia Aviation Board awarded $8.4 million to airport projects across the state.
