Experience: Two years on a school board, worked as a substitute teacher, graduate in history.

Reason for running: “I am concerned that we don’t talk about our nation’s past. We don’t create a culture to learn and think critically or learn to agree to disagree instead of causing conflict. We need to learn how to communicate, and there is not enough consistency with policies such as social media and cell phones, which has led to online bullying.

Why people should vote for you: “I will be engaged and a presence in the school. I will be responsive, address concerns, create opportunities, and create dialogue with the community.”
