Candidate for New Kent Conservation and Water Director: Philip Thomson

Experience: Currently serving as Soil and Water Conservation Director for the past four years, technical and educational experience, chairman of outreach and education committee for the district.

Reason for running: “My grandfather was a farmer and nurseryman in Hanover County and I learned the importance of not just being a good caretaker of the earth, but also a responsible member of the community. Serving as a director allows me the opportunity to give back, albeit in a small way, to both.”

Why people should vote for you: “I am dedicated to serving and representing all of the people of New Kent County and I am asking for the opportunity to serve another term.”
