King William man indicted for felony eluding in Charles City

A King William man was indicted on two felony charges following Nov. 9 proceedings in Charles City Circuit Court.

Phillip Terrall Adkins, 37, of the 1500 block of Dunluce Road, had one charge each of felony eluding and felony child abuse certified by a Charles City grand jury. The indictments allege that Adkins attempted to flee from a Charles City deputy on July 22 and had a child inside of the vehicle at the time of the pursuit.
