Chickahominy Health District hosting community forum in Charles City
The Chickahominy Health District, which serves Charles City County, will partner with community organization to kickoff the Charles City Community Health Improvement Planning (CHIP) on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
Local organizations will take in part the process to help identify health priorities by reviewing the results of the recently completed Community Health Assessment (CHA). They will discuss those findings and are asking the community for help in determining priority areas.
As part of the process, goals will be set for improving the county’s health over the next five years. Community insights are valued and encouraged, and residents are invited to attend additional CHIP meetings in the new year as well to provide additional input.
The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of the Charles City Government and Administration building. For more information, call 804-382-6159.
