New Lanexa fire station opens doors

Above, the uncoupling of the hose signifies the grand opening of the Lanexa Fire Station doors as part of a Friday morning ceremony as part of New Kent’s focus to improve emergency services in the county. Constructed in less than 10 months, the $4 million building (below) covers nearly five acres of land and provides a relocation to a new home in the eastern part of the county.
