Several local students named to academic honors lists at James Madison University
Several local residents were recognized for their academic achievements at James Madison University for the Fall 2023 semester.
Brianna Bartlett, Jack Swynford, Jacob Snawder, Allison Sours, and Danielle Ellsworth, all of Quinton, Holly Hazelwood, Hunter Meadows, Akira Hicks, and Kendall Hicks, all of Lanexa, Miranda Copeland of Providence Forge, Emily Minor of New Kent, and Lauren Robinson of Charles City, were all named to the Dean’s List at the university. To be recognized for the achievement, a student must be enrolled full-time and accumulate a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Alexa Spain of New Kent, Molly Wallace of Quinton, Clara Fernandez of Lanexa, and Kaylei Kipper of Providence Forge, were recognized on James Madison University’s President’s List. To be named for this honor, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a grade-point average of 3.9 or higher.
