New Kent Girls Scout Junior Troop 5318 earned a Bronze Award for completing a service project for the community. The group designed and donated two weather-resistant boxes for Corinth Baptist Church that can be used to collect non-perishable food, clothing, school supplies, and other items to support the local community. The Bronze Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve, requiring at least 20 hours of participation on the project.
