Vick honored with Christenberry Award for academic excellence

Lauren Vick, a native of Quinton, is the recipient of the Christenberry Award for Academic Excellence.

The award is given to a graduating senior of the Big South Conference who attained the highest GPA during their undergraduate careers. Vick, who participated in both cross-country and outdoor track and field at Longwood University, earned a grade-point average of 4.0, earning Big South All-Academic Team honors.
