Eight locals named to James Madison University’s 2025 Spring Dean’s List

Several local students were named to the Dean’s List at James Madison University for the Spring 2025 semester.

Christian Jones and Olivia Brightwell, both of New Kent, Avery Fernandez, Akira Hicks, and Kendall Hicks, all of Lanexa, Ellie Gray and Laura Clark, both of Providence Forge, and Jacob Snawder of Quinton, were recognized for their academic achievements.

To be eligible for the list, a student must accumulate a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 graded credit hours.
