Several residents earn degrees from James Madison University

Several local residents earned degrees from James Madison University as part of May commencement ceremonies.

Avery Fernandez of Lanexa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Logan Broz of Providence Forge earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Jordan Creed of Quinton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and Holly Hazelwood of Lanexa graduated with a Masters of Art and Teaching in Education.

Honor graduates from the university are Allison Sours of Quinton (Cum Laude- Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences), Abigail Turner of Providence Forge (Magna Cum Laude- Bachelor of Science in Inclusive Early Child Education), and Jacob Snawder of Quinton (Magna Cum Laude- Bachelor of Science in Geography).
