A dozen individuals indicted by New Kent grand jury
A dozen individuals were indicted by a grand jury as part of Monday morning proceedings in New Kent Circuit Court:
–Yasin Auday Aluzry, 20, of the 4000 block of Thorngate Drive, Williamsburg, on a solo count of felony eluding of police. The offense allegedly took place on Mar. 1.
–Renard Louis Drake Jr., 26, of the 1000 block of New York Avenue, Glen Allen, on a single count of forgery of a record. The offense allegedly took place on Oct. 26, 2019.
–Jessie Wayne Farmer, 31, of the 13500 block of Campground Road, Lanexa, on two counts of strangulation, and one count each of misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member and misdemeanor damaging a phone line. The offenses allegedly occurred on Apr. 5.
–Tiffany Michelle Gaines, 39, of the 3300 block of New Heritage Loop, Richmond, on a lone count of felony child abuse. The offense allegedly occurred on July 17.
–Tahishia Rochelle Harrison, 45, of the 200 block of Locust Drive, Waverly, on a single charge of possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The defendant allegedly possessed cocaine on Sep. 27, 2024.
–Rogina Renee Hunt, 40, of the 2800 block of Magnus Lane, Richmond, on one count each of DWI (third or subsequent offense), felony eluding, felony driving revoked, and misdemeanor reckless driving. The offenses allegedly occurred on Feb. 8.
–Patrick Anthony Miels, 34, of the 9500 block of Davenport Road, Gloucester, on one charge each of possession of a Schedule I/II drug and misdemeanor DWI (first offense). The event allegedly took place on Apr. 9.
–Cosey Quishaun Robinson, 19, of the 12600 block of Green Oak Road, Providence Road, on one count each of felony eluding of police and misdemeanor reckless driving. The offenses allegedly took place on May 18.
–Xavien Vargas, 21, of the 4100 block of Washington Avenue, Newport News, on one count each of felony eluding and misdemeanor reckless driving. The offenses allegedly took place on May 19.
–Laura Anne White, 41, of the 7500 block of Lakeshore Drive, Quinton, on one count each of DWI (third or subsequent offense), felony driving revoked, breaking and entering, felony child abuse, felony pickpocketing, and misdemeanor damaging a phone line. The incidents allegedly occurred on May 21.
–Robert Eric Wilburn, 36, of the 1600 block of Outpost Road, Lanexa, on one count each of possession of a Schedule I/II drug and felony destruction of property. The defendant allegedly possessed cocaine on Sept. 14, 2024, and damaged a New Kent Sheriff’s Office vehicle.
–Brent A. Worley, 37, of the 9500 block of Groundhog Drive, Richmond, on one count each of felony eluding and misdemeanor reckless driving. The offenses allegedly occurred on May 31.
