Stewart appointed to Board of Veteran Services

New Kent District 5 Supervisor Jordan Stewart has been appointed to the Board of Veteran Services.

Stewart was appointed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin to serve on the board that advises and makes recommendations to the Commissioner of Veterans Services. Matters that may arise include investigating issues related to the provision of care and services to veterans, develop recommendations for policies and procedures related to the efficient and effective delivery of the services provided by the Department of Veteran Services, and establish policies related to the coordinated delivery of veteran services in consultations with agencies, entities, and organizations that include counties, cities, towns, or other political subdivisions of the Commonwealth capable of providing such services.
