McLaughlin Animal Shelter in New Kent

Above, former New Kent County Sheriff J. Joseph McLaughlin Jr. (third from right) is joined by current New Kent County Sheriff Lee Bailey as they held the grand opening of the new animal shelter in McLaughlin’s name on Friday afternoon. Located at 7087 Airport Road in Quinton, the animal shelter (pictured below) provides a safe habitat for animals, ensuring the county’s vision to take care of animals in need of protection, as well as offering adoption services.
