A bill presented to rename the New Kent Post Office after former New Kent Supervisor Patricia Paige has passed.
In a legislation presented by Congressman Rob Wittman on Apr. 14, a bill to honor Paige passed the U.S. House of Representatives with bipartisan support. Paige, who served on New Kent’s Board of Supervisors, passed away on Nov. 28, 2023.

She loved this community (New Kent), and we owe it to her to honor and continue her legacy.”
Paige served on New Kent’s Board of Supervisors until her passing. Family members are grateful for the honor.
“Ms. Paige loved the Lord and her family and friends,” said Sandi Paige, sister of Patricia Paige. “The Paige family is grateful to everyone who helped get this post officer renamed for their kindness and friendship, not only to Patricia, but also the family.”
