Stewart selected to Virginia Hunt State Policy Fellows program
New Kent District 5 Supervisor Jordan Stewart has been selected to the Virginia Hunt State Policy Fellows program.
The bipartisan program of The Hunt Institute brings local elected officials together from across Virginia to engage in productive dialogue on pressing issues in education policy. Policies the group will discuss include early childhood education, K-12 systems, postsecondary attainment, and workforce development.
“I was honored to join fellow leaders from across Virginia for our first session his past weekend to explore solutions that help students succeed and strengthen opportunities for families in New Kent,” Steward said in a press release.
