Colonial Farm Credit names New Kent scholarship winners

Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation, Inc. has selected its 2014 New Kent High School recipients of their 2014 scholarship program.

Jeannie Katherine Bradley is the recipient of the Roger Gregory Jr. and Emma E. Gregory Memorial Endowment by St. Peter’s Parish Church. She will be attending J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.

Rachel Ashlyn Byers is the recipient of the William R. Davis Sr. Memorial Endowment sponsored by family and friends of Davis. She will be attending Virginia Tech.

Shelby Anne Stewart is the award winner of the New Kent County Extension Endowment. She will be continuing her studies at Baylor University.

The Colonial Agricultural Educational Foundation was established by Colonial Farm Credit in 1990 to promote education and community enrichment through educational scholarships and support of programs offered by community organizations. This year’s scholarships totaled $150,000 and were awarded to two organizations and 82 students residing in southern Maryland, central Virginia, and Eastern Virginia.
