Charles City, New Kent High School announce 2014-15 football schedules

Charles City and New Kent High School have announced football schedules for the 2014-15 season.

New Kent will open Sept. 5 as they travel to King William. On Sept. 12, the Trojans commence Bay Rivers District competition by traveling to York. New Kent will host the Jamestown Eagles on Sept. 19 to open up the home schedule. Four of the first five games for the Trojans will be on the road.

Charles City opens the season on Aug. 29 at home against Amelia County. The Panthers will open up road completion at Cumberland on Sept. 5. Tidewater District play begins on Oct. 10 when the Panthers travel to King William.

2014-15 schedules

New Kent- Sept. 5 at King William, Sept. 12 at York, Sept. 19 vs. Jamestown, Sept. 26 at Grafton, Oct. 3 at Tabb, Oct. 10 vs. Smithfield, Oct. 17 vs. Poquoson, Oct. 24 at Lafayette, Oct. 31 vs. Bruton, Nov. 7 vs. Warhill.

Charles City- Aug. 29 vs. Amelia County, Sept. 5 at Cumberland, Sept. 12 at Sussex Central, Sept. 19 vs. Franklin, Oct. 3 vs. Colonial Beach, Oct. 10 at King William, Oct. 17 at Middlesex, Oct. 24 vs. King and Queen, Oct. 31 vs. Mathews, Nov. 7 at West Point.
