Repairs to delay traffic at intersection of Airport Road, New Kent Highway until 2015

Utility and road construction are now underway at the intersection of Route 249 (New Kent Highway) and Route 612 (Airport Road and Tunstall Road) in the Quinton area of New Kent.

The adjustments are being made to address both drainage and traffic issues at the intersection. The construction will cause at least one lane to be closed for most of the day.

Construction is expected to last until March 2015. Motorists are encouraged to use an alternative route and avoid the area as much as possible.
