SkillsUSA winners

Bridging Communities Career and Technical Center second year HVACR students competed on Sept. 29 in the annual state fair/SkillsUSA competition. Students competed against 18 other school divisions, with Bridging Communities earning a sixth place overall finish. The school was the only one in their respective district to place in the top six. Chase Williams and Daniel Simmons of New Kent (holding certificate) received top honors. Also representing Bridging Communities were Trace Whitman and Matt Walsh.
