New Kent tree lighting

Families take handmade ornaments and hang them on a Christmas tree as part of New Kent's holiday tree lighting event held Sunday afternoon at the New Kent Courthouse Complex. Hosting 300 attendees, activities included a "Jingle Jog" run, talent show, tree decorating, and lighting of a tree in front of the Historic Courthouse. Below, Santa Claus speaks to Cub Scouts about their good deeds as part of his many stops in New Kent.
