Providence Forge Christmas Parade

Above, kids from Sunshine Nursery School rock and roll their way to a Best in Show finish as part of the Providence Forge Christmas Parade on Dec. 7. After a one-year hiatus, the parade returned in full force with more than 60 entries. Below, New Kent High School's Marching Band play holiday tunes to get the crowd into the holiday mood, while at bottom, Santa Claus waves to children from atop of a fire truck. Other parade winners are: Trucks- 1. Canaday Trucking 2. Dennis Trucking 3. Bruce Howard Towing. Cars- 1. Lanexa Car Club. (Best Vehicle- Bill Luebbert 1954 Chevy Truck). Floats- 1. Sunshine Nursery 2. King of Glory Lutheran 3. Krista Adams Pooper Scoopers.
