Lanier named executive director for Quin Rivers

Dr. Jack Lanier has been appointed as executive director for the Quin Rivers Board of Directors in New Kent.

Lanier most recently served as CEO of the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority and President of Richmond Behavioral Health Foundation. He is professor emeritus at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia’s Department of Epidemiology and Community Health.

“We are very pleased Dr. Lanier accepted the position of executive director Quin Rivers,Inc.,” said board president Christine Tillman. “He has excellent credentials and he is a competent leader with strong organizational and communication skills. Dr. Lanier is well-known in the community and he will be an asset to our organization.”

Lanier is a retired colonel from the United States Army and fills the vacated position. He began his obligations of his new job on Nov. 17.
