PF Christmas Parade

Eighty-one units stepped off Sunday afternoon for the third annual Providence Forge Christmas Parade. Entries from Providence Forge Hardware (top) and New Kent Girls Softball League (below that) tied for first place in the float category while the Sunshine Nursery School float (third below) placed third. At bottom, Santa rides aboard a Providence Forge Fire/Rescue truck that took first in the big rigs category. Other categories and winners are: Walking units- 1. Journey Trails, 2. K-9 Santa, 3. Pooper Scoopers; Cars- 1. Lanexa Car Club, 2. Providence Forge Corvette Club, 3. D.C. Hot Rod Club; Equestrian- 1. Black Gum Saddle Club; Big rigs- 2. Bruce Howard, 3. Canaday Trucking; Floats- honorable mention Sportsman Tavern, King of Glory Lutheran; Honorable mention- Reunion of the Past. Parade judges were Linwood Gregory, Ruth Hennaman, and Chris Kuhn.
