Children from 16 New Kent County families got to “shop with a cop” Sunday at the Brook Road Walmart in Richmond as part of the annual Cops Who Care program headed by the New Kent Sheriff’s Office and Henrico Fraternal Order of Police. Chris Hamlet. Kids received $200 each to spend, but under strict guidelines. Half of the amount had to be spent on clothing and other essentials.
