Letter to the Editor: Says America is under attack

I write to you this day because I believe our country faces its greatest danger than it has ever faced in modern times. We are all Americans and as such we have a duty, an obligation to serve, protect, and defend our country and the values and the principles that have made us safe, secure, and the envy of the world. No matter our position or status, we must stand up and be counted.

The enemy we face today is both foreign and domestic. It is not the typical enemy of another country about to invade us with some standing army. The enemy is of ideological beliefs that want to change us, to transform our values and principles that have made us exceptional.

This country was founded under the Judeo-Christian moral- ethical values and principles. It is these values that is the fabric and glue that hold the country together. If it is denied or destroyed, our country and for which it stands will no longer exist.

Our Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and our Judeo-Christian faith are being diminished and scoffed at. We are under attack. Are you going to allow it?

One of our foreign invaders and enemies is the Islamic ideology that is not compatible to our Judeo-Christian faith, our Constitution and the Rule of Law that we have lived by. If we refuse to accept the Islamic beliefs, we will be at war with the Islamic world. Islam is political, it is the law of the land, it is the way of life and sometimes the way of death.

We must recognize and identify our enemy. Until we do, we cannot defend ourselves and our country. Our country is at risk, your way of life is in clear and present danger. Your very life itself is at risk if the enemy should win this war. This is a war of words and a war for ideological beliefs. This war will change everything you do and believe in. We must not lose as nothing will be the same again.
