Duo to perform for Arts Alive on Feb. 7

Arts Alive will host the fiery violin and guitar duo of Alex DuPue and Miguel De Hoyos on Saturday, Feb. 7, 7 p.m. at the Robinson/Olsson Civic Auditorium in West Point.

Individually, the two have entertained audiences around the world. DuPue performed at Carnegie Hall at the age of 14 and toured with rock guitarist Steve Vai, while De Hoyos has performed in front of Mexican government officials and the Romanian government.

The duo performs a variety of musical styles that include classical, bluegrass, and rock.

Tickets are $25/adults, $20/seniors, and $10/for students. Group rates are available at $15/person for 10 or more attendees.
