Letter to the editor: Thanks those who offered Nativity scenes

Liberty Baptist Church had a drive thru Nativity that inspired the community about the true meaning of the Christmas season. It was beautifully and artistically done and very informative and sensitive to those who are Christian and challenging to those seeking a spiritual focus. Thank you Liberty Baptist!

Also, I saw an invitation to a “Nativity” at Rockahock. I went expecting a single “Live” nativity. Surprisingly there was a beautiful old world “Marketplace” and greeters dividing us in 15 people groups — giving us a denarius to pay the tax and a narrator (an apostle) led us thru 10-plus scenes from the garden of Eden thru Christ’s incarnation, ministry, Crucifixion and resurrection.

Thank you Journey Church and Randy and Angie. These two presentations made my Christmas a “wonderful experience.” I hope they’ll do it next year and many more will be able to attend. Have a blessed 2013 everyone.
