Jim Probsdorfer (far right), Rotary District 7600 Foundation Chairman, presented a check in the amount of $5,000 to the Rotary Club of New Kent at the organization’s Aug. 19 meeting. The check, along with $600 from the New Kent Rotary Club, and funds from the New Kent Educational Foundation and School Board, will finance the purchase of a baby grand piano for New Kent High School. Accepting the check are (l to r) Jackie Smith, president of New Kent Rotary, Susan Musselman and Michelle Edwards, both representing New Kent High School.
