Jones completes police academy

Corey Braxton Jones graduated Sept. 4 from Henrico’s 56th Basic Police Academy.

Jones completed the 32-week training course that covered areas of academic, physical, and firearm training.

Jones is a 2007 graduate of New Kent High School and a 2011 graduate of VCU where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

He is the son of Dwight and Angie Jones of Providence Forge and the grandson of L. Marcella Braxton of Lanexa and Elizabeth Jones of Providence Forge.
