Volunteer firefighters needed in CC

Charles City Volunteer Fire and EMS are seeking county residents to help with fire and emergency medical services by joining the department as a volunteer. Also, the organization is looking for citizens who want to start an auxiliary department which will help in raising needed funds for equipment and training.

Currently, there are only 10 personnel serving over 7200 citizens and covering 218 square miles by volunteering their services and time to protect Charles City County.
